Mount Longonot is a dormant stratovolcano rising 2,776 m above sea level in the Rift Valley, about 90 km from Nairobi. The 2 to 3 hour hike rewards with 360-degree panoramas of Lake Naivasha, the Rift Valley escarpment, and the volcanic crater below. Optional full crater rim walk available for the adventurous.
