Day-by-Day Itinerary
Depart Nairobi at 7:00 AM heading southwest via the Narok road, crossing the Great Rift Valley escarpment with its sweeping panoramic views before descending onto the Mara plains. A mid-morning break at Narok town, then onward across golden grassland to your camp in time for lunch. Your first game drive begins immediately after -- lion prides, elephant families, and thousands of grazing zebra and wildebeest set the tone for what's ahead.

A full day dedicated to the Mara's wildlife. An early game drive catches predators at their most active -- lion, cheetah, and leopard are all regularly sighted. Return to camp for a midday rest before an afternoon drive timed for golden-hour light, when the plains turn amber and the resident herds are at their most photogenic. Evening dinner under the stars, with the sounds of the savannah as company.

After a final sunrise drive and breakfast, depart the Mara mid-morning and cross back through the Rift Valley to Lake Naivasha, arriving in time for lunch at your lakeside lodge.
