<p>Ol Pejeta Conservancy, on the equator near Nanyuki, is widely regarded as East Africa's most successful wildlife conservation story. It shelters the last two northern white rhinos left on Earth under permanent guard, alongside Africa's largest black rhino sanctuary and a healthy population of the Big Five. Ol Pejeta is also home to Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary, the only place in Kenya to see chimpanzees, which live here as rescued orphans from central and west Africa. With Mount Kenya's peaks often visible on the horizon and some of the highest wildlife densities of any Kenyan conservancy, Ol Pejeta combines serious conservation work with outstanding game viewing.</p>
